As a child I loved animals & dreamed of owning my own pony. One of my foster homes had a working ranch in Leona Valley. The foster kids would take care of the animals. We learned how to care for them and how to ride. My sister put me in blue shadows mounted drill team while I lived with her. I learned good horsemanship. Having the opportunity to be around animals changed my life. They made me feel special and happy.
In 1989 I bought my first pony, Sugar for my son Shane. I hoped he would enjoy being around animals as much as I did growing up. My friends & neighbors constantly asked me to give their children pony rides. Seeing the demand, realizing how much everyone enjoys animals, I wanted to make a difference in childrens lives so I started my first pony ride and petting zoo business.
Our small family owned company has grown from one pony to over 100 animals since 1989. I feel having pony rides & petting zoos at your event offers a wonderful opportunity and experience for children and adults who might never get to see up close the gentle beauty and wonder of these animals. I am so happy with what I do for a living. Making families smile while I am spending time with the animals I love so much
